Hallo Pam123

Thanks again for trying to help out. The Dll download site, I have already been there and replacing the dll file doesn't work I have done it before and it just made things worse. Besides it's really an old version of the file.
I have spent about 5 hours trying to find out more information about this .dll problem and all I am able to find is people with the same problem, Win XPPro, upgrading directx, new graphic hardware or an joystick or something but I have not really found an solution.
There is not one that is working.
They say to install the service pack for windows which I did and it didn't do anything.
I am wondering if this .dll problem could have been created by my wireless keyboards, I doubt it but maybe.
I also now that its not definetly the motherboard or any of the hardware in my pc.
I will keep looking but so far no luck for a solution.

The thing I am really bummed about is that after puting the Radeon 9800TX in the computer and immidiatly after that checking the dxdiag has been corupted with that dinput8.dll file.
LIke I mentioned above I immidialty reinstalled and reformated everything from ground up and the problem shows up right after upgrading to directx 9.0b. I don't really understand how it can show up when originally after putting the pc with this new mobo (ga7nnxp) the problem was not there.
Maybe taking out the battery and redoing everything inclouding the bios will do something.
Right now I created a restore point right before installing the directx 9. The direct x version is 8 I think I the error doesn't happen. I will install the service pack etc. and then directx 9 to see if it help otherwise I have to go back again and install everything over again.
