Just thought of some thing. When you buy a boxed hard drive, it comes with a installation kit. I am buying an OEM with a controller card. It comes, of course, without any thing.
Will I be needing any drivers or should I do the Fdisk thing before I can put an OS on it?
What is the difference between a boxed HD one that comes with the floppy and all the cables, as compared to one that is OEM without the floppy or any thing?
I have been told by people you don't need anything beside the HD, just put it in and start using it.
