Cheating isn't bad in BF1942 because of the randomness of the weapons, mostly. An aimbot would be pointless, since the weapon you're firing arcs or spreads as you hold down the fire button (in the case of infantry weapons). The bot would never hit anything

There are no-fog and radar hacks, but besides those nothing really detrimental to the game. And even those won't make much difference, since a newb with a radar is still less of a threat than an experienced player without one.
