A friend gave me a Ricoh mp6200s cdrw.
This is a scsi cdrw(one of the first made)
I can't access Ricoh(excluding European site)and can get no info on it.
It came with a PE Logic isa controller card,which can be configured.
On the back of the device,there are jumpered connections(all open)
labled scsi id
id0,id1,id2.
My question is should any of these be jumpered.
It will be the only device attached to the controller.
Has anyone ever used one of these?
I believe the speeds of it are 2x,2x,6 or8x.
It's a freebie,so can't complain
!
Also the controller card has dipswitches.
The top one is for port
on=140h
off=340h
The next 4 designate irq assignments.
The bottom three read
rom2
rom1
rom0
How should the port and rom settings be configured?
Any help would be appreciated.
