That's the way I've been trying it,I've already tried the common sense things,but no matter what cd I put into the reader,the same thing happens,"analyzing cd failed."
I came up with the idea of copying cd to hard drive,(Quake3)and burning it from there,it burnt okay,so I know the device is working.
Last night,when I checked the disk,it had changed the format,and the cd could not be read,as all items had an icon and not as it appeared on source.
Checked it just now,so I could tell you what the files were,and the burnt disk is now fully functional!
What's that deal!

So at least not all is lost,just a longer approach to what should be a simple function.
I'll keep plugging at it and hope for the best.
