Been doing some experimenting and have some surprising results. In a recent post, I had mentioned some entries in autoexec.bat and was wondering where they came from. Network Neighborhood properties listed Banyan Vines. I know now that they came from Raspppoe.
I removed all entries having to do with Enternet 300 and Raspppoe. I then reloaded Enternet. There were no entries having to do with Banyan Vines and entries in autoexec.bat. I then removed Enternet and installed Raspppoe. Banyan Vines was listed and all the entries were back in autoexec.bat.
I did a reformat and reinstall and installed Enternet 300. It is working best for me.
Until Raspppoe's bugs are worked out, I'll stick with what I have. I did like the fact that Raspppoe is small and will keep my eye on any updates for it.
Thanks to you guys for helping me out. The things I have learned from you have been invaluable.
