P4 Heatsink fan

Hey all,

My P4 Heatsink Fan is making like a buzzing noise every few seconds. I have turned off all case fans, and I do still hear the noise from the P4 Heatsink fan.
There is no cables near the Heatsink fan, so it's not a cabling problem. I think it is just a bad HSF.
I bought this CPU retail from Newegg.com and I do not want a new CPU or heatsink, just a new CPU fan. Is it possible to replace the HSF from a retail HSF that came with the box, with the same one, but a new one? Anybody have instructions for this? TIA.

P.S- The noise happened after a week or so. System is silent, but the buzzing noise every few seconds or so tends to get annoying.

Not sure this is normal, but my friend has a HP and a P4 and he said he is getting the samething.

If I only knew how to take apart the damn lock mechanism to take out the cpu fan.
