About the case: The case is all about personal preference. If you're asking whether its sturdy or not, the former seems to be better. It is built with Aluminum and that should hold pretty well. Power supply, I believe I've heard people recommend Enlight and Coolmax - have a friend who uses it and it hasn't seemed to blow up or anything.
