Ok, just built a new system with an Antec Sonata, and I'm having a problem with the rear fan. This is supposed to be a super quiet case, and the manual says that the PSU has the ability to adjust the speed of not only its own fan based on case temperature, but the exhaust fan as well, as long as it's hooked up to the "4-pin fan only connector."

Problem is, I can't find this connector. I see a whole bunch of regular Molex connectors, a 3-pin Fan monitor cable so the mobo can read the rpm of the power supply fan, the ATX connector for the mobo, and a couple of SATA connectors, and that's pretty much it. The only thing left is this one little 4-pin connector similar in size to the 3-pin fan connector, just slightly bigger. It is not labeled "fan only" or labeled at all, in fact. I would hook it up to the fan to see if it works, but there is no way I can find to connect the two.

The exhaust fan comes only with standard 4-pin Molex connectors, so I'm thinking that if I'm looking at the correct connector, then perhaps I'm missing some sort of adapter than I'm supposed to get.

I wouldn't care, except that I built this computer specifically for use in an office where noise is an issue, and the case is too noisy with the 120mm exhaust fan running full blast.

I called Antec Tech Support, and the guy I spoke with had no idea what the hell I was talking about. I read him the part of the manual that specifically says the PSU can do this, and he said I was mistaken, and that I must be reading it wrong, or be looking at the wrong thing. Bull****.

So if anyone has a Sonata and knows how to get the exhaust fan in the case to adjust depending on temperature, please let me know. I'd be very appreciative.
