My wife and I have had our share of problems but after an argument last week I was asked to leave.
An attorney confirmed for me that she cannot forcibly throw me out because both names are on the lease and also that by leaving I am not waiving any rights to see the kids or any possesions in the apartment.
I left but am wondering what the next step is. Has anyone here ever got divorced in NY?
