You said that nothing was loose, but check the actual plugs that the keyboard and mouse plug into. Make sure that they do not move at all. Also, if you have another mouse and keyboard I would check it with a new mouse and keyboard. If it is the plugs on the MB, I think that you may have to replace the board. If you dont want to do that, invest in a USB mouse and keyboard. I would do that before you replace the motherboard. I doubt if Epox would RMA the board due to your situation. The cheapest solution would be to buy the USB mouse and keyboard and don't use the PS/2 ports. You may have to enable USB support in the BIOS to enter the BIOS or enter Safe Mode with the USB keyboard.
