Sounds like it has to be in your network configuration. Go into control panel, network and make sure all settings are the same as your old system. You may have to power it up to get them. I wouldn't think think that the cards' mac address could change by moving it from one machine to the other but it may be that also. You can get that going into start, run then type in winipcfg. That will give the adapter address. You might put the card back in your old machine to see if it stays the same.
