Mike- hopefully you would choose another name at that point. But would the new kid be jealous as he would most likely be a 1.0 instead of a 2.0? What happened to version I imagine 1.1-1.9 were before birth. 
But personally, I wouldn't condem my kid to geekdom- I'd simply wait till he's older than somewhat forcefully to become a geek.
