I'm not an overclocker guru but I will answer what I can. One I don't know about the HP, you run into a proprietary mobo there.

You don't need more RAM.

You won't kill the CPU if you take small increments and have good cooling. You boost gradually until sys. becomes unstable and then back off to last stable setting.

The setting are for the multipliers and just back them off, see previous ans. about CPU.

Keep in mind, anytime you go out of specs, yous pays yous nichels and takes yous chances. Don't go crying to the manufacture if you kill it. When you do this you are your own warranty station.

On the plus side, there are a lot of people who have a lot of fun seeing how far they will go. As Toaster likes to say, the spec's are just a starting point. Have fun.
