Sorry, guys. Yes it is a Microsoft keyboard and mouse. I've experienced the "snooze" mode you talked about, ninja. The keyboard does that initially. I begin typing and it takes a few seconds to connect and get going. Thanks for the little bit of information. Not sure what to do at this point
