Did you try with just one of your memory sticks to rule out a bad stick? XP is pickey about ram. Is it the brand/type recommended by the Motherboard mfgr.? Did you allow XP to format the new hard drive. Give us more information and I'm certain one of the knowlegeble people here will help you. By the way, welcome to the forum. You will like it here.
