I agree with tireman. When I swapped out two Sapphire cards awhile back I decided to not take any chances. Uninstalled the old card in Device Manager, removed it and installed the new one and reinstalled the drivers. Like tireman suggests, download the latest drivers and save them to your desktop before you begin the swap and you can save yourself a step.
