the bootlog option creates a file BOOTLOG.TXT that gives a systematic readout of everything loading during windows boot. When your system freezes, shut down and use the repair console or a DOS bootdisk (only works if your system drive is in FAT/VFAT) and rename the file \bootlog.txt to error1.txt (this prevents from overwriting during the next boot).
My suggestion would be that, if the next time your system freezes again .. turn it off, run the recovery console again (or bootdisk as the case might be) and rename bootlog.txt to error2.txt
Once you have successfully booted to windows, open up error1.txt, error2.txt... and bootlog.txt (of course bootlog will now contain a log of events of what went right) and compare the lines to see what's going on. It is helpful for accuracy to have at least 2-3 failed error logs. Sometimes, critical hardware issues might cause your system to hang at different and random moments.
When you say you try to proceed from factory restore disks, do you recall what you exactly put in that seems to trigger these issues?
Finally, I don't know if your system is new or within warranty, and this is definitely not how a laptop is designed to work. If possible, try to get it exchanged. Not to be psychic, but if the factory conditioned restore disks don't help your system stability (I am assuming that you are adding no new software or hardware) then it is likely that it is a lemon.
