**EDIT, it was several years ago when I was a young tech. It was one of the Live and Learn experience.

Ya... I did pretty much the same thing once... I got lotsa blue sparks and smoke.. totally fried the switch and actually burned a 1/16th in gouge into the side of the screwdriver.... remember to disconnect power... remember to disconnect power.. remember to disconnect power
