I have been trying to source a PCI soundcard that has a True "Line Out" connecter (ie the volume on this connecter does NOT vary when adjusting the windows mixer). I need to have a known level output to feed to external VU metering. I know some of the old ISA cards had points on the card itself that could be tapped off.
Otherwise I have been trying to source VU pluggins for media Player which has also proved fruitless.
Any ideas or suggestions?
