Yes, you will need DOS PCMCIA drivers in addition to the DOS CD drivers. They can all be loaded on a boot floppy, but will suck up a huge chunk of conventional memory. With this in mind, make sure himem.sys is on the boot floppy, and you have DEVICE=HIMEM.SYS and DOS=HIGH in the boot floppy's config.sys. You may also need emm386.exe, and DEVICE=EMM386.EXE NOEMS and DOS=HIGH,UMB in the config.sys. This will allow you to use DEVICEHIGH for the PCMCIA and CD drivers in config.sys and LOADHIGH in autoexec.bat for the mscdex. If you do this, do not attempt to install Windows with emm386 loaded - copy the cabs and sys the hard drive and reboot to it before doing the install.
