Well, now i've got some extra work to do, in the process of tidying up/shortening the wiring i put too much superglue gel on one of the LED's and completely melted it's casing (into the body of the fan), so now i've gotta drill it out, think i might try to add come more colours for good measure this will mean having to get a rotary switch with more pole's and positions so I can get more combinations.

Also, found these on RSWWW, thought these might be different

It's an RGB led (incorporates red/green/blue) this means I could connect three potentiometers:

and be able to adjust the levels of red/green/blue, this means it could produce virtually any colour. This could be an interesting mod. Think I'll buy some of those and try them
