Haven't used it in a while. This was a bit back when, like so many others, I was trying to decide on a linux fllavor. I found it to be one of my favotires of the Linux flavors, for a beginner, but I didn't get to indepth as I was trying dffierent versions. I liked it and In fact I am about to try it again when I get other things settled.

Vector is based on slackware, so any problems that arise should be fixable.
I have not used any Linux system that didn't have issues, some less than others.
You may have to try several flavors before finding one that works for you.
Try both versions of Vector, 4.0 and SOHO. As I said, one worked better than the other. That may be why someone was experiencing problems.
