HP OfficeJet d135

I am reinstalling office jet drivers. I used the cd that came with the printer. Everything seemed to go fine. The printer shows up in the device manager with no errors and in the Printers & Faxes, it shows up in the "ready" state. When this did'nt work, I went and downloaded the newer drivers... a whopping 60mb. I uninstalled the old ones (following the directions on their site) and installed the new ones. Everything seemed to go great. The printer was unplugged when I installed the new drivers (also, what the instructions said to do) and when I plug everything back in, Windows sees the printer and everything seems great except when I try to print something it always fails. This goes for documents in MS Word, notepad, command prompt, etc.

There seems to be all kinds of problems with these All-in-One printers... any help is greatly appreciated.
