I'd say Altec Lansing PC speakers are average. I haven't been impressed by any I have heard especially when hearing them next to others. They did make superb automotive speakers though. I have some 4in Altec Lansing speakers in my 95 Civic and They sound absolutly amazing. Friends swear I have a subwoofer. I don't. I don't even listen to bass heavy music. Sadly, they don't make automotive speakers anymore.
