wouldn't it be nice just to have 1k to throw away on a cpu...just think what the cost of the other components would be if you spent 1k on the cpu alone...4000+

This is truly an awesome motherboard! I have 4 WD 10K Raptors hooked up in RAID 0 along with with 4 optical storage drives (3 Plextor and the Dru700 (sony)). I have 4gb of RAM (DDR2). A P4 at origanal speed of 3.4ghz and using my personally tweaked water cooling system it is running at 4.2ghz without a problem (YEA) probably thanks to the stack cool and artic silver 5. Other than that i have a 600wat psu and i waiting to get het x800 xt pe this is truly an awesome motherboard and it comes with ever imaginable adaptor and cable.
