Strange...What client were you using again? Azureus isn't my favorite client, I wasn't satisfied with the speeds I was getting, but if it works stay with it. If you haven't patched your TCPip.sys file to have unlimited connections in SP2, your still not getting the speeds you should see in BT, and theres a very noticable difference in eMule. Even tho it seems like its running flawlessly, look in event manager and you should see something about limits being exceeded.

How much hard drive space is left?
What is the size of the torrent file ( im assuming its a game being around 1-2GB)?
Whats your hard drive file type, eh like FAT32, NTFS, FAT
