The Show Desktop button (link: Explanation of the show desktop button and how to recreate it is here:
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;262088) will mimimize your webpages in order to show the desktop. The only possible alternative I can think of to show the desktop without minimizing any webpages or content is by doing START > RUN >
