Isn't there a way to check and see in the task manager? I'd rather not turn off Norton's before I find something else. I spend a lot of time on the internet and I send and receive tons of E-mails every day.

What would you recommend switching to? I'm a bit tentative about switching to a different antivirus software, but that may just be a false sence of secruity I've been lulled into by Norton.
