Ive actually had some cases that I used high temp heat glue on... used it on all the seams and on all the screws.
Does a good job of deadening vibration and you just use a razor blade to trim it up...

Heck Ive had those be good after 10 years on old AT cases when they were used on plastic clips holding wires...
