Someone here suggested changing 'Client for MS network' to 'Windows logon' to get rid of the need to enter a password everytime I boot up.
But all this has done is to change the request from Network, to Windows password. A search for *pwl brings up nothing, yet when I enter my usual
password it accepts it and boots.
