Your motherboard is most likely set to the wrong FSB. What mobo are you using? Some are adjustable in the bios while others use an extenal dip switch. When you change cpu's it is best to reset the cmos too. This allows the mobo to correctly detect your new processor. The correct fsb for your processor is 166 by the way.
