Look in your bios settings. Look for anything that says raid, promise or fast track.
The text may still appear, but it shouldnt be causing your machine to boot significantly slower anyway if your clearing it with esc or enter. Text doesnt suck up anything. Even the GUI of the windows loading screen doesnt decrease boot time and thats animated graphics.
