Well if EMT64 does the same (or something very similar) then I know enough. EMT64 makes the P4 a worthy competitor on 64bit territory. That's the conclusion, right? The 64 bit benchmarks will be the deciding factor for me, if I were to buy a 64 bit processor. So with the upcoming 64 bit version of Windows XP there's, from my perspective, no real reason not to buy an Intel with 64bit technology. (assuming a future where a lot of applications will be written for 64 bit CPU's).
Or am I concluding to fast here?
Are those Intel P4 EMT64 processors already out in the stores btw? I haven't seen them so far, here in Holland.
