Do you really *need* the Novell Client 32? Most of the time, all you need is the standard MS "Client for Novell Networks" and the MS "Support for Novell Directory Services" installed. The only real reason to use the Novell Client 32 is if you need to run NWADMIN from that workstation or if you are running any software packages that are not compatible with the MS client (yes, there definitely are some of those).
If you need to install Client 32, get the MS client and service installed first and make sure you can log in as admin. Then run the Client 32 install from the CD or from the hard drive (NOT across the network), choose a custom install, take only what you need, and it should uninstall the MS client and service and install without asking for any driver disks. With Client 32 and Win98SE, there should be no reason to need to log in at the DOS level - you can still run DOS based programs off the server in a full screen DOS window if necessary.
