I am in the tile business and we are constantley trying to avoid water damage in showers. They have come up with a new sealant called "Butyl Rubber" its in a tube just like caulking but you cant get it at a Home Depot or anything like that, you need to go to a local tile distributer and buy a tube. the stuff never dries and always remains "stickey" so it wont crack and let water thru over time. I dont know how it will work with heat, but I dont think it will get too hot. if it does then your pc is probably already fried LOL. Silicone caluking will over time 'dry' and begin to let water in.
