Me and a friend are planning to run a 100+ man LAN for (and in) our school to raise funds. Problem is, we don't have a clear idea how. Me and 5 other friends frequently do our own little LANs together, but when it comes to more than 50 people? Our school has plenty of 10mbps hubs to offer, and we would ask the people to bring their own computers and cables. We have power, space, cooling, etc. We just want to know how to actually go about it. We'd like to do only one game for eases sake, most probably Counterstrike: Source or 1.6 (which should we do anyway?). How do we actually go about organising the teams or players and their ranking and figuring out who's doing well and not, yadda yadda yadda? We can also have a projector working to show matches, how would we get that working? Sorry it's a lot to ask, just tell me every detailed thing I'd need to know to run a medium-large scale LAN with counterstrike. Thanks.
