I've got a 3000+ Barton core cpu, it used to run at 55-60 deg c under load with the stock cooler. I just got a Gigabyte 3D Rocket Cooler-Pro HSF. Its great. It dropped my temps to 35 deg under load and 30 deg when not under load. It also comes with a speed controller to put into a 3.5" bay and a PCI bracket fan speed controller if you don't want to lose a 3.5" bay. Its really quiet too, you can only hear the muffled whoosh of moving air when its at its maximum speed.
