I know or i think i know I have a bad tel. line. (dial up) The line has a lot of noise on it and the phone co. is going to work on it. They feel that the line is not the problem. My comp. says i am running at 40 kbps but running a test shows it at around 20 kbps. The phone co. thinks something is eating up my band width. Is there a way I can check this? I have Tren Micro internet security +spyguard+cwshredder. I think my comp. is prity clean. This problem is not new but it seams that I am timeing out more often. Could use some help.
