ok, Legally You can not share your wireless signal, You are responisble for securing it.
In short, someone comes by and finds your open network and does Illegal activity on your open connection, any tracing comes back to You.

Also, it is against the Terms of use many Providers have.

In short, if you use someones wireless connection, with out consent, in short you are Stealing service, open or secure.
