i was looking at linksys and 3com as alternatives to cisco. Currently 30 users moving to 40 in a year. Our current layout (done prior to me getting here) has 2 linksys stackpro hubs stacked. New office will need a switch on either side of the office to which i'll stack a hub each for growth. The switch will also improve performance from our current layout in addition to having the fiber backbone.

Cisco's 2924s have 2 fiber ports but run around $2300 i believe. Linksys and 3com cheaper? i'll take a look at the site.
