Having problems with a direct connection between my laptop (Win 2K) and my home machine (ME). I can see my laptop from the pc but when I try to access it, usoft networking keeps prompting me for a password. I don't recall ever setting up a networking password when I upgraded(?) to ME. I've tried all the passwords that I WOULD have entered but keep getting denied access..Usoft networking keeps throwing up a "password not recognized, contact system administrator" message. I have connectivity between the 2 machines as I can ping back and forth and can pull files from the pc down to the laptop without any problem but not vice versa. I had no problems with this connection using my ex-laptop (W95). I have full control permissioning on my laptop hard drive and there is no password assigned to the share.

Any ideas out there? I don't have much hair left to tear out.
