Futuredial.com has software, snapdialer, that lets your laptop connect to the internet via a cell phone and a usb connection from the laptop to the cell phone. This requires a special usb cable, and special usb drivers.
I am trying to install the usb driver, but it won't install and won't give any extra information other than a box with this error code: 0X00000007, and a note driver installation failed. No bsod.
Heres the goods:
IBM 600 laptop
Windows98se
Nokia 6225 cell phone
snap dialer software
Special usb cable from future dial
The first step to get this set up to work is to install the usb driver, and I am stuck here on the first step. My thought is to uninstall the current usb driver, then try it. It is not my computer though so I am a little gunshy. Any suggestions? Thanks
