hi, my problem is that i turned on my computer this morning and it gets to the winxp logo like it always does when it starts up but then just the computer just restarts everytime. i tried going into safe mode, last know configuration that worked, and debugging mode (whatever this is) but still does the same thing. I disabled the autmatic restart on system failure and then it gave me some blue screen saying system failure. I remember last night that xp installed some updates before i shut down. is this what is causing the problem? was it some virus instead of updates? how do i fix this or am i screwed? isn't there a way to run a virus check w/o having to go into windows? thanks guys.
