Sorry this is so late but I just got off of vacation. glc I did find an answer I was looking for. When using a Linksys router with RASPPoE you do have to connect through your browser everytime then reboot to surf. It's just the hassle of PPoE. And just to let anyone who reads this know, just as glc stated, you do have to rid your system of all Enternet software in order for your system to work with a Linksys router.
