Yeah, I've seen a 120 GB, 160 GB, and 180 GB die, and all of them were WD SEs. I also saw a few 2MB cache versions die -- a 10 GB and two 40 GBs. They're not the most reliable drives -- nothing on the level of the IBM DeathStars, but still not up there with, say, Seagate. The only drives that I've had die in recent memory that weren't WDs were very old and rather mistreated.
