Help!!
I was in my router configuration settings and I tried to forward a 2 ports. I've done this before and when I was finished it said I had to reboot the configuration page so I pressed OK. BIG MISTAKE! After this the computer started lagging and it disconnected me from the wireless network connection. I've had this happen to me before so I just pressed Repair and usually it goes back to it's usual self. This time it disabled/enabled the WIFI card and it tried to renew the IP address. The computer could not renew the IP address and after a while it said that there was limited or no connection.
I thought, hmmm must be the wireless lan so I connected it via the ethernet cable. Same thing again, limited or no connection.
Now I thought, hmmm must be the router then and I asked my mom and she said that the internet was working fine with her computer which is connected with an ethernet cable to the router.
Then I reset the router to the factory settings but I still got limited or no connectivity and now it said the same thing on my mom's computer.
Then I connected my computer to the modem directly with an ethernet cable and voila the same thing happened again: Limited or no connectivity. I connected my moms computer directly to the modem and it works...so after alot of gutwrenching and thinking how I was gonna get out of this situation the easiest I decided to write about my problem here at PC Mech

Hopefully somebody can help me. The support that LevelOne gave me was really bad and I hope somebody can shed some light
