GLC - It is the latest available version and runs on other SP2 machines.

SFC found a few dlls which needed replacing.

I found out that AVG, AdAware and Spybot were all out of date as he is on dial-up but had it set to never dial a connection therefore updates were never downloaded.

I installed SwatIt and updated AdAware and Spybot but none of these found anything. I left AVG downloading Version 7 and am waiting to hear from him about the results of a full scan.

I could find no file or reference to a file msrexe.exe

I'm running out of ideas now.
