Maybe they are cheaply built, that's why they can also sell them cheap (like I posted earlier I have had 5 Epson printers, and have had no problems with their physical makeup). I have not had any technical nightmares like the last post refered (only once with the last one I bought, a slight install problem which their tect support quickly resolved). And also they bent there warrenty policy, and exchanged a printer (overnight & they paid the S&H charges) when I was three weeks, OUT OF WARRENTY, and this one was my fault. No questions asked. I was impressed!! Using a 777 now, and had a 740 previous and originally Epson Stylus color. If your like me, and don't do a huge amount of printing, but want superb quality, at times, their is no comparison. Epson rules the cheap(to buy)but quality printers market. And no, I do not work for Epson.
