You might have to get creative with the placement of the 2nd hardrive. On my HP a810e the 1st one was sideways on the wall, so I had to find an old tower that had a tray I could mount to the bottom of my floppy drive bays.

The new harddrive should come with a ribbon cable that has a slot for 2 drives. Sometimes on prebuilds the IDE cable only has a spot for the master.

If you've ever made anything with Lego's or with an Erector set then you should be able to get it done without too much trouble.
